Actress Lee Min-jung faces deep-seated wounds from the past as she prepares for divorce.
In the 5th episode of KBS Drama·GTV's 'Yes, Let's Divorce' (directed by Ju Sung-woo, written by Hwang Ji-eon, produced by Canvas N), scheduled to air tonight (2nd) at 11 p.m., Baek Mi-young (played by Lee Min-jung) and Ji Won-ho (played by Kim Ji-seok) reveal a stark temperature difference regarding the past incident that became the cause of their divorce.
In last week's broadcast, the couple successfully completed a fashion show, showing signs of reconciliation. However, when Baek Mi-young witnesses Ji Won-ho exiting a motel room with Ahn Hee-ju (played by Lee Jin-yi), their marital relationship faces ruin once again.
With Baek Mi-young's determination to divorce growing firmer, the released photos capture Baek Mi-young and Jeon Chi-hyun (played by Oh Yeon-ah) shining with eyes set on victory. After seeing the opposing lawyer Bae Su-ji's (played by Ahn Nae-sang) prepared written response, Baek Mi-young is flustered and asks Jeon Chi-hyun for help. Jeon Chi-hyun, who previously lost to Bae Su-ji, ignites her competitive spirit and vows thorough preparation, adding a battle of pride among lawyers to the divorce lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Baek Mi-young and Ji Won-ho show completely opposite views regarding the past incident that led to their divorce. Ji Won-ho shakes Baek Mi-young with a written statement refuting her assault allegations, while Baek Mi-young painfully recalls the time when they lost their child and their relationship deteriorated.
According to the production team, episode 5 will reveal the full story of the past incident when Baek Mi-young wielded a knife and caused a disturbance, along with the truth behind the suffocating dispute.
Pressed by divorce demands, Ji Won-ho meets Ahn Hee-ju again, who provided the misunderstanding. Previously, Ahn Hee-ju fell asleep next to the sleeping Ji Won-ho in the motel room and left remarks that could create a misunderstanding for Baek Mi-young. Interest is focused on the reason Ji Won-ho met Ahn Hee-ju again and the consequences this action will bring.
'Yes, Let's Divorce' episode 5 airs tonight at 11 p.m. on KBS Drama and GTV, and will also be released through Tving and Wave.
