ICHILLIN' J, the first unit of the group ICHILLIN', will release their first digital single album 'Look At Me!' through various online music platforms on the 2nd at 6 PM and begin their full-fledged unit activities.
This new album captures the youth of the three members Eaji, Juni, and Yaeju who are running toward their dreams, as well as the excitement and free moments they encounter on their journey. The excitement shared together, the anticipation for the stage that shines even brighter because they are with each other, and the courage to move toward their dreams are expressed with ICHILLIN' J's bright and positive energy.
The album includes a total of 2 songs: the title track 'BANANA (Look At Me!)' and the B-side track 'Runaway'. From bright and bouncy energy to the comfortable easy listening appeal where the unique vocal tones of the three members stand out, the unit presents their new musical color through two tracks with different vibes.
The title track 'BANANA (Look At Me!)' features member Juni's direct participation in the songwriting, adding honest emotion and individuality. The cheerful band sound, addictive melody, and powerful energy of the three members come together to create a strong impression. The choreography also heightens the fun by adding pointed movements that intuitively express the meaning of "look at me" as the title suggests and the shape of a banana.
The previously released music video teaser shows the members spending time in different spaces such as a practice room and subway platform. The direction where the reflection in the mirror transforms into a pixel character and graphics reminiscent of retro games intersect with real scenes, raising curiosity about the story of the main video.
The unit name 'ICHILLIN' J' was created based on the common point that all three members Eaji, Juni, and Yaeju have the letter 'J' in their names while continuing the identity of the existing group. Eaji serves as the team leader and mediator, Yaeju as the mood maker, and Juni as the team's anchor, creating balance in the team.
In particular, since three members are filling the stage that seven members used to fill, each member plans to reveal their individuality more clearly, and by performing with dancers for the first time, they have completed a more abundant performance.
