Actors Yoo Hae-jin, Lim Si-wan, Kim So-hyun, and Lee Moo-saeng are joining forces for the occult mystery film 'Modum' and will begin full-scale production starting September 4th.

'Modum' (Director: Park Jong-hyun | Provided/Distributed by Showbox | Produced by P.O Entertainment | Co-produced by Showbox), which depicts the stories of people entangled like unraveled knots on a remote island where footsteps ceased in the 1960s, has already garnered anticipation from the production stage by completing a fresh casting lineup.

Yoo Hae-jin, who led the box office success with the film 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' returns to the occult genre for the second time following 'Exhumation.' He takes on the role of Lee Do, the village chief who guards the fishing village and watches over the remote island, leading the story from the center of events that connect past and present. Yoo Hae-jin, who has demonstrated unparalleled character immersion in every work, will be paired this time with Lim Si-wan in a father-son relationship. Ahead of his first shoot, Yoo Hae-jin expressed his joy at beginning filming together in the cooling September weather and shared his determination to complete the shoot safely and create a good final product by doing his best.

Lim Si-wan, who showed intense acting transformations in the 'Squid Game' series and 'The Attorney,' plays Sang-gun, the son of Lee Do. His character is someone who looks only forward and charges into everything he decides to do. Following Seon-ok's request, he heads to the remote island against his father's opposition, heightening the tension of the story. Following his Chungcheong dialect displayed in existing dramas, he now challenges himself with a Jeolla dialect, bringing vitality to his character.

Kim So-hyun, who has honed her acting skills in dramas such as 'Good Boy' and 'The River Where the Moon Rises,' challenges herself in the occult genre for the first time. Making her screen return after approximately 10 years, she takes on the role of Seon-ok, who heads to the remote island seeking to treat an unexplainable bizarre illness. All eyes are on what chemistry Kim So-hyun, who reunites with Lim Si-wan for the first time since 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun,' will create with her deepened acting skills.

Additionally, Lee Moo-saeng joins as Gu-taek, Seon-ok's father, enhancing the completeness of the story. Gu-taek is a man who holds onto his last hope and embarks on a journey to the remote island to save his daughter suffering from bizarre symptoms, and plans to densely portray a father's desperate feelings to rescue his daughter.

Director Park Jong-hyun, who worked in the directing department for 'An Ordinary Family' and 'Broker,' is taking on his first feature film direction and stated that his goal is to complete the shoot without incident alongside excellent actors and staff. Additionally, Director Kang Yoon-sung of 'Crime City' and 'Casino' is joining as a producer to lend his strength.
