Kim Ji-seok's kidnapping in a shocking ending has brought the couple's conflict to a new phase.
In Episode 6 of "Yes, Let's Divorce" (directed by Joo Sung-woo, written by Hwang Ji-eon, produced by Canvas N), which aired on KBS Drama Channel and GTV Channel at 11 p.m. yesterday (the 3rd), the misaligned hearts of Baek Mi-young (Lee Min-jung) and Ji-won-ho (Kim Ji-seok), as well as a mysterious kidnapping incident, unfolded.
On this day, Baek Mi-young shed tears at a senior couple's reminder wedding event. As she learned the truth about a past assault incident, her regret toward Ji-won-ho grew. Meeting with Jeon Chi-hyun (Oh Yeon-ah), she confessed that she had stabbed Ji-won-ho and cried, "How must he have felt being continuously blamed when he was the one who was hurt?" Baek Mi-young's late realization of Ji-won-ho's consideration added to the pathos.
However, Ji-won-ho drew a line with Baek Mi-young, asking her to pretend not to know the truth of the incident, saying "I'm fine, so you don't need to worry." He also got angry at Baek Mi-young, who came to his motel, and sent her away. Afterwards, Baek Mi-young witnessed Ahn Hee-joo (Lee Jin-yi) trying to enter Ji-won-ho's motel, and after meeting Calvin (Lee Hyun-jin), she expressed complicated feelings, saying it seemed Ji-won-ho and Ahn Hee-joo were dating.
Ahn Hee-joo secretly entered the couple's home using a password she learned while taking the drunk Ji-won-ho home. While gathering Ji-won-ho's clothes, she encountered Ryu Mi-soon (Moon Hee-kyung) and Ji-seung-ho (Koo Sung-hwan), and introduced herself as Ji-won-ho's girlfriend. She got into a physical fight with the enraged Ryu Mi-soon, pulling her hair, and they went to the police station. Ji-won-ho, who arrived at the scene, became confused seeing Ryu Mi-soon blaming him and Ahn Hee-joo claiming to be his girlfriend. Ultimately, to prevent Ahn Hee-joo from being punished, he admitted she was his real girlfriend.
After leaving the police station, Ji-won-ho told Ahn Hee-joo not to see him again, but Ahn Hee-joo suggested he use her for the divorce. Afterwards, Ji-won-ho demanded a written agreement from Baek Mi-young that he would not object to meeting Ahn Hee-joo. It turned out their relationship was a fake romance for a complete separation from Baek Mi-young.
Meanwhile, Ahn Hee-joo was fired from Calvin Hotel due to Calvin's influence as he stepped in to protect Baek Mi-young. Learning this, Ji-won-ho hired Ahn Hee-joo at G&White and did not give in to Calvin's demand to cancel her employment.
Baek Mi-young tried to stop Ahn Hee-joo from attempting a perilous cliff wedding photo shoot, but failed to do so. Afterwards, she heard complaints from Ji-won-ho over the reason that Ahn Hee-joo was in danger. Meanwhile, when Ji-won-ho received a call that Ahn Hee-juu was injured, he was kidnapped by mysterious assailants on his way to her. At the same time, Baek Mi-young, whose contact with Ahn Hee-juu was cut off, went out to find her. Subsequently, the scene of Ji-won-ho facing Calvin, the mastermind of the kidnapping, was intercut, raising tension to its peak.
Episode 7 of "Yes, Let's Divorce" will air at 11 p.m. on the 9th (Wednesday) on KBS Drama Channel and GTV Channel, and will be streamed on Tving and Wave after broadcast.
